PANSIT (BIHON)

Ingredients

Procedure

  1. In a wok or a large frying pan, lightly saute Chinese sausage for 2-3 minutes.
  2. Remove sausage from pan and drain on paper towels.
  3. Add oil and heat, adding garlic and pork.
  4. Stir fry 5 minutes or until pork is cooked.
  5. Then add shrimp and cook another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Add cabbage, carrot, celery, onion and bean sprouts. Stir fry 2-3 minutes.
  7. Add broth and simmer until vegetables are about half cooked.
  8. **Preparation for Bihon**
  9. Soak Bihon approximately 30 minutes or until soft.
  10. Drain well.
  11. In a very large pan over low heat, toss Bihon with vegetables.
  12. Season with Mama Sita soy sauce and salt.
  13. Garnish with chopped green onions. Serve hot with lemon.
